This guide to Vicenza, by the doyen of the Palladian Revival in Italy is almost entirely devoted to the buildings of Palladio and Scamozzi. The folding plates show elevations of Palladian buildings - and there are two plates of the interior of the Teatro Olimpico. There was a second edition in 1780. The author was much ought-after as a cicerone by those cognoscenti on the Grand Tour.
