By family descent from; William Lansdowne Beale (1829-1896) a subsequent chairman of the Midland Railway(1864) and successful business man who had incorporated the Parkgate Iron Works of Birmingham, which was at some point purchased by Messrs Samuel Beale and Co, to be The Parkgate Iron Company limited.
